Just a quick note- one easy way to use these images without either hotlinking or downloading would be to use, say, ImageShack. Just load it on there and use that link instead. That's what I did.

Daemen: The site has gone been redesigned and is now completely compatible with IE 6 and above. The previous design was simply not possible to do properly in IE 6.

I have to wonder though how hard it would be to create this design in MSIE <7, without dumbing it in any way... (not really I think, honestly)

Good work - and great idea!

Don't let the naysayers & criticizers get ya down!

You're helping people spread the words about fx and that's a good thing - if they don't wanna use your avatars, they don't have to!

wait up....its actually not that hard to get this site showing up the same way in IE.....regardless of version.

Rakaz, just a tip but i recommend you exploere the use of the star html calss assignment, it allows you to create css styles for IE only....

If you want to specify a style for say Konquorer or Safari(both use KHTML engine) then you should visit quirksmode.org or do a search on wikipedia for 'css hacks'.

and You are quite right to point out that IE7 will have improvements....although i wouldn't say that IE is w3c compliant....still along way to go for that..besides i use Ubuntu instead of Windows because i care about the security of my computers....so why would i use a security ridden hellhole like IE anyway....oh thats right I have to code for consumerist portion of this planet. sigh

ps( you may want to apply a display:block;clear:both; to each of your formField and formLabels in the comment form here, they're a bit guffed up.)
