Get Firefox buttons

After the wallpapers and the avatars, which will receive some updates in the nearby future, I’ve also created some Get Firefox buttons. Four different styles so far: XP, Orange, Blue and Black. I’m going to create a complete button set for at least one of them, which one do you prefer?

Blue

Black

Orange

XP

I like the XP version. One suggestion, can you make the black button with "Firefox" in the orange lettering, trying to visualize that standing out more.
    Just a suggestion.

Hi, I saw your images on the angelfire web site and I do have one request/suggestion – could you make another version of the moving avatar, where the background stays fixed but the fox moves, kind of like it’s running?

Can you put the source of this buttons to download for localisation?

  13. Scott wrote on November 28th, 2004 at 10:05 am

I second the source idea, if just to make hundreds of colors… also, where do you get that font that is on every firefox promo material?

also, has anyone noticed that these buttons have appeared on Ben Goodger’s development blog?

Great work… would it be possible to get an original hi-res file of the "Get Firefox – Take Back the Web" 120×60 button? I have some ideas for promoting it and haven’t been able to track down a copy.

    I would greatly appreciate it.

Mind if I make and animated button out of these images for Firefox promotional?

  22. suranpu wrote on January 11th, 2005 at 10:39 pm

The blue ones are the best firefox promo buttons I’ve seen. May I ask you for the original art to be able to change the language? Or… can you make it in different languages?

    BTW, thanks for the buttons.

"unfortunately Internet Explorer does not yet fully support web standards"

    Hello, are you sick
MICROSOFT Internet explorer is still used by 99,8 % of all internet users, you better enhance your site so it’s working for the mayority, you nerd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  35. John wrote on September 10th, 2005 at 1:56 am

They are all excellent! I would prefer either the silver or orange for my blog’s colors. But it all depends on what your design needs are.

  36. Olivier wrote on September 14th, 2005 at 4:14 pm

Where can we find the source to internationalize the buttons ?

Beautiful button sets. I’m a graphics designer myself. The blue set is simple yet elegant, and the XP set is very modern and attractive. Those are my two favorites. Could you make a zip file of all the buttons? Thanks, and great job!

    nice.. vista version? ;)

  48. Stacey wrote on November 6th, 2007 at 3:18 am

I’m not fond of black but that is a great range of buttons. I do agree with Hariadi though how about a vista version? The ‘glass effect’ they have is kind of cool.

I like the blue and the XP best.

How about something like “looks nicer in Firefox?” Or “page contains features that don’t work in MSIE?” (OK that’s too long… Mostly to give you a concept of why there’s a need for the former text.)
