Hey, Just wanted to thank you for all the wallpapers and buttons you've made for firefox. I must admit, the 'Black' wallpaper looks wonderful with the slate theme on Microsoft Windows Codename "Longhorn", almost as if they were made for eachother!

In my experience, short of very fine (highly unnoticable) pixel-pushing, IE can handle standards-compliant HTML and DOM without any problems at all. Just because Firefox is sexier in appearance and behavior, doesn't mean IE can't stand its own. And for a browser that hasn't had its rendering engine updated in a long time, I'd say that's quite a feat!

"A friendly little message for our misguided IE-using friends..."

Personally I think you should leave out the word misguided. Be more polite and you're more likely to have a positive impact on IE users. Be negative as I think you are then I think you will likely alienate IE users which is not what you want to be doing when you are trying to convince them to change browser.
This website is standards-based and won't display properly in Internet Explorer.
You might want to try Mozilla Firefox instead... "
